Main Uses and Applicable Scope
This testing instrument is designed and manufactured according to the standards of ISO/DIS 10545/7-1996 "Ceramic Tiles - Glazed Ceramic Tiles - Test Method for Surface Abrasion Resistance" and GB/T3810.7-2016 "Ceramic Tiles - Glaze Abrasion Resistance Test Method". A certain amount of abrasive is placed on the glazed surface of the ceramic tile, and the abrasive is ground on the glazed surface. The difference in the glazed surface of the ground sample is visually compared and classified.
LM Main Technical Parameters
1. Sample size: 100×100 (mm); 8 samples (also known as eight-head grinding) or 3 samples (also known as three-head grinding) can be tested simultaneously. Abrasion tests with fewer than 8 samples can also be performed;
2. The distance between the center of the supporting turntable and the center of each sample is 195mm, and the distance between adjacent sample fixtures is equal;
3. Rated speed of the supporting plate: 300±10% rp/min;
4. Eccentric distance: e =22.5 (㎜);

LM Main Structure and Working Principle
The testing instrument consists of a body, a transmission mechanism, a supporting turntable, eight metal fixtures with rubber seals, and an electrical control device. The motor drives the supporting plate to rotate at 300 revolutions per minute through the transmission mechanism, generating an eccentric distance of 22.5 mm (e). Therefore, each sample performs a circular motion with a diameter of 45 mm, thereby grinding the abrasive on the sample glaze. The electrical control device controls the preset number of revolutions. When the preset number of revolutions is reached, it can automatically stop. This equipment has a novel structure, stable operation, low noise, and simple operation. It can perform tests on 8 samples or fewer than 8 samples simultaneously. Because it is equipped with a digital time relay, the operator only needs to connect the power supply without any monitoring. It will automatically complete the operation according to the set time (number of revolutions).Instrument configuration: Includes one LM test host, one kilogram of F80 white corundum powder, and one set of steel ball abrasives.
