    I. Xiangtan Xiangke DRX-3A Cross-wire method thermal conductivity tester Overview

    The DRX-3A thermal conductivity tester uses the transient hot-wire method, including the cross-wire method and the parallel-wire method, mainly measuring the thermal conductivity of solid and powder materials at different temperatures. It features high precision, high resolution, and high reproducibility. It is automatically measured by computer control. It is widely used in research institutes, quality inspection, factories and mines, etc., for the measurement of material thermal conductivity.

    This instrument is newly developed and designed based on our original DRX-2, improving the measurement accuracy and reproducibility, making the structure more reasonable and easier to use. Model classification: DRX-3A mainly uses the cross-wire method (the parallel-wire method can also be used to measure materials below 5w/mk).

    Instrument reference standards: GB/T 5990-2006 "Test method for thermal conductivity of shaped thermal insulation refractory products (hot wire method)"; GB 11205-2009 "Determination of thermal conductivity of rubber (transient hot wire method)"; GB/T10297-2015 "Determination of thermal conductivity of non-metallic solid materials (hot wire method)", etc.

    II. Xiangtan Xiangke DRX-3A Cross-wire method thermal conductivity tester Main Technical Indicators

    1. Measurement range: DRX-3A (cross-wire method) 0.015~2.0 W/(m·K),

    DRX-3A (parallel-wire method) 0.015~5.0 W/(m·K).

    2. Temperature range: Standard detection is room temperature. Different constant temperature devices can be selected according to customer requirements to perform detection within different temperature ranges, as follows:

    -40~120 ℃ (requires high and low temperature constant temperature box) with copper-constantan hot wire

    Room temperature~1000 ℃ (requires resistance wire resistance furnace) with nickel-chromium-nickel silicon or platinum-platinum rhodium hot wire

    Room temperature~1300 ℃ (requires silicon carbide rod resistance furnace) with platinum-platinum rhodium hot wire

    Room temperature~1600 ℃ (requires silicon molybdenum rod resistance furnace) with platinum-platinum rhodium hot wire

    3. Measurement accuracy: <±5.0 %

    4. Sample size: 2 pieces of rectangular parallelepipeds no less than 40mm×80mm×114mm that are symmetrical to each other, or 2 pieces of semicylinders with a cross-sectional diameter no less than 80mm and a length no less than 114mm combined into a cylinder; (or customized according to user requirements),

    5. Temperature resolution: 0.001℃

    6. Hot wire power supply: Current resolution 0.01mA, voltage resolution 0.1mV
