    This device meets the GB/T3074.3-2008 method for determining the oxidizability of graphite electrodes and is used to determine the oxidizability of graphite electrodes.

    Oxidizability is the number of milligrams lost per hour per gram of sample due to oxidation when a graphite sample is passed through air at a temperature of 650℃.

     

    Main technical parameters:

    1. Heating furnace operating temperature: Vertical, room temperature to 900℃,

    2. Microcomputer program temperature control, temperature control accuracy ±1℃, adjustable heating rate;

    3. Atmosphere can be introduced into the heating furnace chamber;

    4. Quartz tube: Outer diameter 64mm, inner diameter 56mm, length 900mm;

    5. Platinum wire: Φ0.3mm;

    6. Sample size: Graphite electrode Φ25×50mm;

    7. One hanging analytical balance: 200g range, 0.1mg accuracy (cost not included).

     

    Sample requirements:

    1. Sample collection shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T1427.

    2. Sampling location: Separately at the center of the measured electrode, take a sample with a diameter of 80mm and a length of 150mm parallel to the extrusion direction, remove 70mm from the outer end, and cut the remaining cylinder into two equal parts.

    3. Dimensions: Processed into a cylindrical sample with a diameter of 25mm and a length of 50mm, with a processing accuracy of ±0.5mm.

    4. Requirements: Drill a hole with a diameter of 1mm at a distance of 8mm from one end of the sample along the direction perpendicular to the extrusion direction for hanging the sample. The sample should be dried in an oven at 120℃~130℃ and then placed in a desiccator for determination.

    5. Quantity: Take 2 samples each time.
