Structural description and working principle
The appearance diagram of this machine is shown in Figure 1. It consists of four parts: transmission, operation, cylinder, and bearing. The cylinder is a cylindrical tube made of rolled and welded steel plates. According to customer requirements, alumina lining bricks of different thicknesses are built inside the cylinder (this unit uses 92 porcelain lining bricks) to meet different working requirements. Double-row self-aligning ball bearings are used for the bearings, overcoming the disadvantages of large friction force of bronze bushings, and can still work normally even if the cylinder is slightly bent or deformed and the installation error is not large.
During operation, water and ball stones are loaded into the cylinder. When the cylinder rotates, the ball stones are attached to the inner wall of the cylinder under the action of centrifugal force and rotate and rise with the cylinder. When they are brought to a certain height, the ball stones will fall down due to gravity. In the process of the ball stones falling, the materials in the cylinder will be crushed by the impact and grinding of the ball stones.
The cylinder is rotated by an electric motor, and the rotation is achieved through a reducer (or large and small pulleys) and a transmission shaft. Due to the use of central rotation, the noise is low and energy is saved, making it an ideal ball milling equipment in the ceramic industry.
